Cynthia Renee Cox, 52, 1500-1/2 S.
Jackson St., died at 7:34 p.m. September 29, 2010 at St. Vincent
Frankfort Hospital.
Mrs. Cox graduated from Frankfort Senior
High School in 1976 and from House of James Beauty School.
She was a hair stylist and beauty shop owner and an
instructor at House of James Beauty School.
She had also worked at Mallory and Frito Lay and had been a
cook at Ponderosa and most recently she worked at Premier Seal
Coating.
She was a member of the Eagles
Auxiliary. She loved
her cats and dog. During
her recent illness, Cindy was loved and cared for by her
brother-in-law, Shady Lane.
She was born August 2, 1958, in
Frankfort to James R. and Donnabelle (Gard) Snodgrass.
She married Jeff Reecer, and they divorced.
She married Chuck Cox in 1982, and he preceded her in death
in 1996.
Survivors include two sons, Shannon
Reecer of Kirklin and Coby Cox of Frankfort; two sisters, Connie
S. (husband Shady) Lane and Joyce A. (husband Denny) Kanatzer,
both of Frankfort; three grandchildren, Brandt, Shantel and Harli;
her stepmother, Louise Snodgrass of Frankfort; and her
mother-in-law, Dorothy Cox of Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her parents
and her father-in-law, Charles R. Cox.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at
Genda Funeral Home with Pastor John Leitzel officiating.
Calling will begin at noon and continue until the service.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin.
