We fondly remember our classmate

Diana L. (Castle) Blackburn

Mrs. Blackburn, 31, Fort Wayne, died from an illness at 4:10 am January 3, 1990 in St. Joseph Hospital.

Mrs. Blackburn was a hairdresser and had lived in Frankfort. She was born May 1, 1958 in Frankfort.  She was married to Mark Blackburn.  

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Robert E. and Nancy Wessell Castle LaGoy of Frankfort; father, Richard Castle of Frankfort; five sisters, Nancy Sellers and Kimberly Steele of Frankfort, Sherri Wilson of Russiaville, and Tracy and Lezlie LaGoy of Lafayette; eight nieces and nephews.

Services for Diana L. Castle Blackburn were at Frye Funeral Home.  The Rev. Ross Terry will officiate services.  Burial was in Bunnell Cemetery.

We were friends all through grade school. I remember fondly playing together and trading clothes. Spending lots of time together at each others houses. She and I were always the smallest in our classes.  Lost touch with her later in school, not sure why. Very sad to hear of her passing.
